21 Weeks
Here's my tummy at 21.5 weeks.
I'm feeling great and things are going really well. Yay for the second trimester!!!
B3 moves all around but since I have an anterior placenta (placenta in the front) it's been a little bit harder to feel him. He is the most active at night and last night I finally felt him kick my hands. How cool! I crave lots of very unhealthy foods but make sure to get some salads and fruits in there as well so this kid isn't entirely made up of sugar!
The boys (mostly Weston) love talking about B3 and we have lots of funny conversations about when he'll get here, who he'll look like, and what he'll be able to do. Oh man, I just know I am going to LOOOOVE having 3 boys.
In other baby news:
We are still working on a name. We thought we had it decided...but of course that would be too easy. I have loved the name Ryder since, well, since high school. (girls and our name lists, I'm funny, I know) and Jeff is finally coming around to it, yay! We also love the name Griffin...but that's not popular AT ALL with the teen crowd apparently. (all 1000 of Jeff's students were NOT fans) Ultimately, of course, we'll pick a name WE like, but we also want it to be a name B3 won't hate. So...the name saga continues. I'll put up a poll sometime soon just for fun. So get ready to cast your votes. :)
(for some reason our camera is taking fuzzy pictures....can't figure out why, but you still get the idea)
and ps. Jeff does not have 1000 students, but I am pregnant so I am allowed to exagerate to make my story sound better. haha

Quilt
My mom makes AWESOME quilts for each grandchild. She entered the one she made Kapria into a Little Girls Quilt Contest.
I really really really want her to win. She puts so much time and love into these quilts and does a FABULOUS job.
So if you have a minute(seriously, that's all it takes) then go vote here.
Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and vote. Make sure you vote for BRIGHT and SASSY by Karen.
Thank you thank you!
ps you have to vote by Sunday night.

Favorite Faces - February!
Weston has developed quite the imagination. He LOVES to pretend and to dress up really silly. He also hates pictures, so it's getting harder to get shots of him. But he is quite the comedian and loves to make me laugh constantly.
Tave absolutely loves hamming it up for the camera!! He has grown tons in the last few months and has a huge personality to show for it! (more on him in another post!) He is my little snugglebug and has such a soft, sweet side!!
Oh these boys make my life so much fun!

West earned a trip to the Dino Museum and he wanted to go with Jeff.
So they had an awesome father/son outing. He loved having the time alone with Dad!!

Ready for Summer!
The boys and I went to get sunglasses today. Tave is pretty obsessed with glasses but didn't have a pair that fit. They each got to pick out what color they wanted and I think they look pretty stylin:
They both LOVE wearing them and Tave ONLY took them off for naptime. Even then, it was a fight! What cute boys!!

Goo!
When I worked at a preschool this was always a favorite activity!
I made some during the weeks I was in charge of Weston's preschool (Valentine's week, that's why it's pink) and we have had so much fun playing with it:
Tave was pretty hesitant at first, but West, of course dived right in! We love this stuff and play with it all the time. It's not as messy as playdough, which is great. (however, it can stain clothing, so don't wear your favorite stuff)
I like hiding little things inside that they can search for.
How to make GOO:
2 cups of Glue (elmers or an off brand)
2 cups warm water
10 drops food coloring
1 tsp Borax
Mix Borax with warm water in a separate bowl.
Mix glue & food coloring.
Add borax/water to glue very slowly
Pull out goo and discard water.
ps. Borax is a laundry booster. It's in powder form and can be found in the laundry soap isle at most stores.
Some fun
We went up to Salt Lake to hang out with Syanne & Aydrien while Chelsea had her ultrasound.
The kiddos had tons of fun together & we had a great time!
Tave loved Aydrien a little too much! He wanted to hug him over and over and kept calling him baby. This baby is just as big as Tave!
West & Syanne loved 'riding' Syanne's quad. Later on we went for real rides outside!
I didn't get any pics of Weston & I riding (don't worry, we wore helmets!) but I did get this cutie! He LOVED sitting on it as long as it was off.
And cute little Aydrien taking a turn sitting with his Dad.
Thanks for a fun visit, Chels & Rob!

James' Visit!
Jeff's brother, James, was in town from Texas for a business trip. We were so glad he came to visit and hang out for a bit before heading back home.
Weston couldn't wait for him to get to our house...around 10 am he started getting impatient. He kept saying "Uncle James & Uncle Johnny sure are taking a long time to get here." So, needless to say, he was pretty thrilled when they arrived (for dinner).
The uncles were quite popular and the boys wanted to play with them (and sit with them) all night. It was really cute. Thanks to James & Jonathan for having so much fun with them. We loved the visit and are so glad we got to see you!!!
And here are Weston's awesome photagraphy skills in action:
