Show Guns
Weston loves to give everyone a little 'Gun show'. Usually he calls it 'show guns' which we think is hilarious.
We watched a video of his cousin, Cole, this morning and West really wanted to do show guns for him. So please enjoy:
** at the end when he bends down he's checking out his blisters... they've been hurting him a lot...it looks kind of funny, so just fyi. :)
Shawn & Abby's Wedding
We had so much fun at the family dinner the night before: meeting everyone, chatting, and of course eating good food.
Then the day of the wedding was just perfect and gorgeous. Abby looked stunning and they were both so cute and so in love.
The kiddos did great (considering their lack of sleep, desire to run and play, and Tave not feeling good!)
It was a perfect day!
Congrats Shawn & Abby.
We are so excited for you two and love having Abby in the family!!

Fun family time.
Roadtrip back home. and guess what--that includes a sick kiddo too. What is up with that?! Not fun. Again.
I'll be posting some cute pics of my button bouquet order for Annie. It's cute. Very cute. You'll be seeing something similar in my shop soon.
And, oh yeah, as if you aren't reading this with your fingers crossed:
I'll be announcing the winner of the giveaway. I haven't even looked at the comments yet...so it probably won't happen until naptime-ish Monday.

Tave - 11 months old!
Our darling Tave is 11 months old!
He has grown in leaps and bounds this month and continues to be so much fun.
Here are some of Tave's highlights from his 11th month:
Stats: 17 lbs 29 inches
He celebrated his first St. Patties Day
He started crawling!! He loves to move and loves that he can get what he wants now!
He loves doors??!! He crawls straight for them and keeps opening and closing it when he gets there. Scary- I know!
He loves to swing and be outside.
He absolutely adores his older brother. Weston can always get him laughing SO hard.
He still sucks on his first two fingers and must have his favorite blanket to go to sleep.
He has become quite the picky eater.
He quit nursing this month. Very sad for me but he was ready. He still has not taken to milk very well...it's a daily struggle.
He celebrated his first Easter.
He loves to sing and make noise.
He's not a fan of shopping - at all.
Bathtime, splashing in particular, his is favorite thing to do!
He loves loves loves his Daddy. The minute Jeff is home Tave is in his arms. (Jeff is loving this!)
He is great in the jogging stroller and loves it just as much as West.
His favorite game is when we hold him and chase after Weston. He thinks it's SO great when he 'catches' West.
He loves dropping things over the sides of things - the bed, the carseat, the highchair, over our shoulders, behind his back. He thinks dropping is great fun. He also loves to share and gives us food, toys, etc all the time!

Easter!
We love our Savior dearly and deeply appreciate all that He has done for us. We are grateful to be a part of a Church which celebrates His life, His ministry and His power over death.

Weston & Kapria loved running around gathering eggs.
Tave hung out with his buddy, Noah, and ate cheerios. (thanks again Rachel!)
Holidays are so much fun with kiddos!

Getting Ready
Weston loves to hang out in the bathroom with me while I get ready.
We have the best, funniest conversations and he has a blast hanging out on the counter.
I love these sweet moments together.
He is just so much fun!
Anyone anyone??
We are going to my little Bro's wedding. I need a light blue (as in pale sky blue) button up church shirt for Tave to wear. Size 6-12 months. I don't want to buy one because he's almost out of this size but 18 months would be waaay too big right now.
SO. If any of you have a shirt we could borrow next weekend I would LOOOVE you forever. I already do, but I would love you even more.
Please, please let me know!
Thanks a ton!

Green grass grows all around all around
Tuesday was a gorgeous day. I took the kiddos outside to play and set Tave down to start exploring.
He started fussing and touching things very carefully. He kept giving me a look that said "are you really leaving me in the middle of this weird stuff?"
That's when I realized he had never been in the grass before! His sitting skills occurred in the middle of winter. So no sitting outside.
It only took him a few minutes to warm up to the idea of green pokey/squishy stuff being okay. Then he was ready to eat it. He didn't dare crawl in it, though. He just watched the other kids and squealed and laughed when they would run over to him.
What a darling baby boy I have!!
Custom
I just had to post this because I thought it turned out so cute.
The winner of my 1st giveaway requested shades of light blue, tan, turquoise, & white.
It was a fun color scheme to work with!!
Alli, this is headed your way. :)

Thanks thanks and GOOD LUCK!!
So go. What are you waiting for?!! Have fun and happy browsing.
And the Tave-man is off...
Tave 'officially' started crawling yesterday (Sun. April 5th)
It was a joyous day in our household with everyone cheering and clapping him on. I'm a little nervous to find out just how un-childproof our house is, but overall, we are so excited for Tave to learn and discover the joys of movement!! Go Tave!
Once Upon a Time...
So he went to slay the dragon which resided under the picnic table.
This dragon was protecting the most brilliant and kingly of crowns. And he happened to be no match for the brave and strong King. (I mean, really, how could the dragon resist such a smile?)
Thus the dragon handed over the treasured crown.
Which happened to fit just perfectly upon this brave king's brow.
And thus ended the very first adventure of King Weston: defeater of the crown-hoarding dragon and Lord of the land called Imagination.
Long live the King.
