Happy 6th Birthday West!!!

Weston's birthday was such a blast. He wanted a Pokemon party (just to clarify, he wanted it first so that's why Tave asked for one!) and since he was inviting different friends I could do all the same stuff! It was awesome!
Jeff's mom was here from Texas so she got to be part of the birthday festivities this year, it was super fun!

The boys were pretty set on having a pinata this year.  Did you know pokemon pinatas are pretty much non-existent?!  So we found this awesome dragon who we called Dragonite:

After the party we went to dinner with Uncle Shawn & Grandma:

Weston has wanted a bow & arrow for SO LONG. Uncle Shawn did not disappoint:

Grandma was brought both the boys birthday presents with her, which was fun for Tave to get to open something too. They both LOOOVED their new pjs:

The day he was born changed our lives forever. It has been an incredible 6 years with this sweet guy:

And some dancing fun with the bros:

No night is complete without a little Callen snuggling:

Happy Birthday West. We love you!

Baby boy...

We finally decided on a name for littlest man:

Callen Joseph

We were pretty sure it would be this, then I kind of had a freak-out-I-don't-know-if-that's-his-name-moment.
But after a week of deliberating, going back and forth, calling him two different names, lots of crying (on my part!) and probably completely confusing our three other boys, we agreed that this is his name, it fits him perfectly, and we absolutely love it. :)

So sweet Callen, welcome to our family. We are so glad you are here.

Birth story and life updates coming soon.
After I go snuggle my sweet baby boy.

Water Fun with Dad!

Jeff was able to take a few days off from work after Callen was born.
It was so wonderful to have him home. Despite his crazy schedule, he tried to give the boys as much time as he could. They loved playing with him and having him home so much. We all did!
He definitely gave us more time that he had, though, and has had a pretty crazy rest of summer as a result!

The boys sure love their daddy!

And baby just sleeps through it all:

Welcome Home Mommy & Baby

Our time in the hospital was short and sweet. Jeff spent the first night with me and then Shar spent the next night.  I actually try to soak in every second in the hospital...it is such a special time with just Jeff & I and baby. Shawn & Shar were our only visitors (besides the boys). It was kind of strange not having very much family around, but it was also nice to have so much time to give Callen attention.  He is so snuggly and it was just awesome to hold him as much as I wanted. I also kept him in the nursery at night so I could get some much needed sleep. I knew that once I got home Shar would be leaving and Jeff and I would be on our own!
Oh how we love this little guy already:

Shar & Jeff had cleaned the house, made this adorable sign, and put up balloons! It was so fun to come home to everyone.

The boys were beyond excited about having baby Cal home:

Callen's first day home was pretty simple and sweet.
Lots of hugs, lots of kisses, and LOTS of love.
Here's hoping we get adjusted to 4 kiddos pretty quickly!

Weston's Kindergarten Graduation!

We are so proud of our West. He worked so hard this year, and absolutely loved kindergarten!
The biggest thing he accomplished this year was learning to read.  He loved making new friends and having 'homework' of his own. :)
We sure love you, buddy!

Weston & his incredible teacher, Mrs. Montgomery

welcome baby boy!

Baby Drysdale
(name coming soon)
arrived Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 1:03 pm
8lbs 13 oz and 20 inches long

He has dark hair (just like all his brothers), long fingers, and long feet. He's also the biggest born yet, so maybe the youngest brother will be the tallest? Tave will be excited to see he has a brother who looks a lot like he did and who loves to suck his fingers! He was transverse, so his sweet little face has some bruising (that should go away in the next three to four days).

He is absolutely darling and so soft and cuddly.
Everyone is in love!

The baby had presents for his big brothers: superheroes! And of course they made sure he got to snuggle with his own superhero doll too.

Welcome to our family, baby boy!
Love,
Aunt Shar
