Favorite Faces - February!

Weston has developed quite the imagination. He LOVES to pretend and to dress up really silly. He also hates pictures, so it's getting harder to get shots of him. But he is quite the comedian and loves to make me laugh constantly.

Tave absolutely loves hamming it up for the camera!! He has grown tons in the last few months and has a huge personality to show for it! (more on him in another post!) He is my little snugglebug and has such a soft, sweet side!!

Oh these boys make my life so much fun!

West earned a trip to the Dino Museum and he wanted to go with Jeff.
So they had an awesome father/son outing. He loved having the time alone with Dad!!

The Aquarium

Since our season passes were expiring, Shar & I took the kiddos to the Aquarium:
They love it, we love it,
Everyone's Happy!

Ready for Summer!

The boys and I went to get sunglasses today. Tave is pretty obsessed with glasses but didn't have a pair that fit. They each got to pick out what color they wanted and I think they look pretty stylin:

You can't beat 2 for $5 at Children's Place!
They both LOVE wearing them and Tave ONLY took them off for naptime. Even then, it was a fight! What cute boys!!

Goo!

When I worked at a preschool this was always a favorite activity!
I made some during the weeks I was in charge of Weston's preschool (Valentine's week, that's why it's pink) and we have had so much fun playing with it:
Tave was pretty hesitant at first, but West, of course dived right in! We love this stuff and play with it all the time. It's not as messy as playdough, which is great. (however, it can stain clothing, so don't wear your favorite stuff)
I like hiding little things inside that they can search for.
How to make GOO:
2 cups of Glue (elmers or an off brand)
2 cups warm water
10 drops food coloring
1 tsp Borax
Mix Borax with warm water in a separate bowl.
Mix glue & food coloring.
Add borax/water to glue very slowly
Pull out goo and discard water.
ps. Borax is a laundry booster. It's in powder form and can be found in the laundry soap isle at most stores.

Some fun

We went up to Salt Lake to hang out with Syanne & Aydrien while Chelsea had her ultrasound.
The kiddos had tons of fun together & we had a great time!
Tave loved Aydrien a little too much! He wanted to hug him over and over and kept calling him baby. This baby is just as big as Tave!

West & Syanne loved 'riding' Syanne's quad. Later on we went for real rides outside!

I didn't get any pics of Weston & I riding (don't worry, we wore helmets!) but I did get this cutie! He LOVED sitting on it as long as it was off.

And cute little Aydrien taking a turn sitting with his Dad.
Thanks for a fun visit, Chels & Rob!

James' Visit!

Jeff's brother, James, was in town from Texas for a business trip. We were so glad he came to visit and hang out for a bit before heading back home.
Weston couldn't wait for him to get to our house...around 10 am he started getting impatient. He kept saying "Uncle James & Uncle Johnny sure are taking a long time to get here." So, needless to say, he was pretty thrilled when they arrived (for dinner).

The uncles were quite popular and the boys wanted to play with them (and sit with them) all night. It was really cute. Thanks to James & Jonathan for having so much fun with them. We loved the visit and are so glad we got to see you!!!

And here are Weston's awesome photagraphy skills in action:

17 weeks

In the hopes of getting caught up with the blog, I'm going to post some present day stuff.
Like this:

17 weeks!
I am feeling much better than before and am getting a bit of energy back.
Still tired a lot.
But very grateful for my hubby, and my two sweet boys.
They don't care what the house looks like or what I look like for that matter! (I happen to look significantly bigger at this stage than any of my other two pregnancies...oh well, at least the weight is the same)
We're packing in lots of fun and special times before baby makes 5.
Oh I just love my guys.
3 weeks until we find out what gender this little one is. I'm thinking boy...Weston's rooting for a girl. We pretty much have names picked, so he just tells me all the time that he wants our baby to be a girl named Nya.
We'll see.

Happy Birthday Jeff!

We had a lot of fun with family celebrating Jeff's 28th birthday!

The boys gave him a travel chess set (he loves chess) and Trav & Shar gave him a painting that Trav made of Christ. SO neat. Trav has since completed it and we are going to get it framed for Jeff's office.

(about the 'cake': I told Jeff I would make him ANY dessert he wanted for his birthdy. Ice cream was his request!)

28 years young and even more handsome than the day I married him:

We had a little celebration with the boys on Jeff's actual birthday and that's where I gave him his gift from me:

We were also able to go on an awsome date of Jeff's choice: the temple followed by a delicious and FREE dinner at Red Robin. (you must sign up for their birthday club!)
Happy Birthday to my wonderful, incredible and fabulous husband.
I can't imagine my life without you and love that each year with you just gets better and better.
Here's to the rest of our lives!

My kind of blogging: Tag you're it!

A friend posted this 'tag' on her blog and I thought it was fun and even better- FAST!
You just open the first picture folder on your computer, and pick the 10th photo. Then tell us a little bit about it.
Here's mine:

This was taken in September 2008. Tave is only 4 months old. I look at this now and can't believe how big my little baby has gotten.
Just look at those adorable little cheeks I could squeeze and kiss and smooch and kiss on some more. (And I still do!)
I love that we have technology to help us capture those sweet moments in life that are so fleeting.
I sure love my babies!

Now I tag: Anyone and everyone who wants to do this!

Another Switcheroo!

My friend, Alli, and I did a product swap. She makes these adorable, adorable chef sets:

I made her some beanies and she sent these in time for Christmas!
Perfect since the boys got a kitchen set!!
The boys are SO cute in them and love to wear them when they help me bake.
Of course, they were wearing the hats all morning until I pulled out the camera, but I did snatch one shot with Weston in his. LOVE it!
You can find them here.

12 Weeks

Well, here I am: Alive, sort of.

I have not felt so great over the past 6 weeks and have been WAAAAY more tired than I have ever been in my life. Seriously. I can fall asleep ANY time. ANY place. Jeff has been such an incredible and amazing husband to give me breaks when I need them. (which pretty much means all the time!)

And as you can see...my bump is there and it's only going to get bigger!

(Weston likes to remind me of this every day.... "Mommy, you have a baby in your tummy and it's going to get big and big and bigger." sure love this kid!!)

But you know what?

A new life, a new baby, a new little person to hug and cuddle and love

makes it ALL worth it.

And I can't wait.
ps Christmas pics ARE coming...there a TONS to sort through so I kind of skipped over them to get up to date!
