Daddy-time
and who could blame him?! We are ALL pretty thrilled when Jeff gets home!
Tave especially loves when Dad throws him in the lovesack. He gets SO excited and wants to do it over and over and over again.
Just another sign that my baby is turning into a little boy!!

Tave- 10 months!
Our sweet little Tave is 10 months old!!
His stats:
29 inches long- 60th percentile
16 lbs 1 oz - 0 percentile He's long and lean!
Some highlights from Tave's 10th month:
- He can turn himself in circles while he's sitting/scooting. Very funny.
- He is SO close to crawling. He lunges forward to reach things and can get on all fours but then he's down...
- Once he's down and on his tummy he is NOT a happy camper. He hates tummy time.
- He loves other kids.
- He figured out how to click his tongue and he does it all the time!
- He laughs all the time, especially with Weston
- He has started pushing things (and food) away if he doesn't want it
- He gives the sweetest, slobbery kisses!
- He really LOVES rough housing. His favorite is being thrown in the lovesack by dad.
- He loves being outside and going down slides.
- He puts everything in his mouth
- He still loves babbling, singing, dancing, and music.
- He eats tons of foods, always wants what is on OUR plates, and his absolute favorite food is Honey Bunches of Oats.
- He had his first horrible sickness this month. :(
- He moved to the big crib. He's doing well and is finally sleeping through the night again. (Which means bedtime 7ish sleep until 5ish, eat, and then sleep until 730 or 8)
- He loves standing by the music tables and pounding away.
- He can take off his hats now. I am sad. But he thinks it's great.
- Grandpa Dan came to visit this month and he loved playing with him and being held.
- He loves his brother and dad, but definitely loves mom-time too..we all feel loved by Tave!
- He loves being held, played with, & snuggled.
- He still gives a big, huge grin to anyone who looks his way.
Dear Tave,
We are loving watching your personality grow! You are tons of fun and so sweet. You make us laugh all the time and you always make us so happy! You and West have tons of fun together. You really love your big bro. You are trying so hard to crawl, Weston has been showing you how. We think you'll catch on soon. You have started repeating sounds and noises we make, which we all get a huge kick out of. You are such a joy in our home, little guy.
We love you!
Love,
Mom & Dad

5 Cousins
Shar and I were able to spend some time with all 5 kiddos on Friday. We hadn't had ALL 5 of them together yet. It was an adventure, for sure.
I just love that on BOTH sides of the family, West and Tave have lots of cousins their age.
It makes family get togethers a BLAST!!!
Mornings with my little man...
*Where, oh where, can my Weston be?
Oh where, oh where, can he be?
With his dino pjs and his big, gray sword
Oh where oh where can he be??
He absolutely LOVES playing in the pillows on our bed.
This particular morning he was 'hiding' and I had to find him.
Isn't he great!
*Yes, I do sing the song. And I always make up silly, crazy words for the last line. West loves it. And I get a kick out of it myself. ;)

Syanne & Aydrien
Tave and I were able to spend the day with Syanne & Aydrien. It was very busy, but so much fun.
I loved snuggling and holding Aydrien. He is such a calm and sweet baby. He liked watching the other kiddos and, of course, slept away a lot of the day. I love this little boy!
Syanne is such a fire-cracker! She kept us laughing and having fun. She loves her kitty and takes him everywhere.
What a fun day!!

You've got a friend in me
When I started video-ing this little scene, it had already been going on for quite some time.
Moments like this are one of my very favorite parts about being a mom.
Lets go fly a kite
He's had a really fun time flying it outside and inside. (thanks Dad, he bought this kite with your change!)
After he had fun running around flying his kite he decided to put his pants back on. Not a big deal, you say?? WELLLL, this was the very FIRST time he has ever put his pants on by himself. Pretty cool. Here's the after shot:
He thought he was hiding from me. Hmmm... can you see him behind that huge lamp post?! ;)
I have so much fun with this kiddo! West-- we sure love you!
And last, but not least, here is a video made for his cousin. Weston had been running around with his kite yelling and laughing and being pretty hilarious. Of course he wanted me to video tape him and then he got all camera-shy at the last minute. So despite what it looks like, this whole thing really was his idea.
Enjoy:

Draper Temple
We were able to go to the Draper Temple Open House.
It was such a beautiful and special morning. Weston recognizes and talks about the temple quite a bit so we knew this was a wonderful opportunity to actually bring him inside.
When we told Weston where we were going, and that the Temple is Heavenly Father's house, he got really excited and asked if we would see Jesus while we were there.
I loved being able to tell him, that yes, we'll see Jesus: that we will see pictures of him and feel His Spirit and maybe even see Him. (because if anyone would, I firmly believe it would be all the little children who enter His house.)
It was neat to walk through with the boys and know that because of the covenants we make there we are able to be a family- forever.
We sat down in one of the rooms and Weston asked me to sing him a song. Of course I sang "I love to see the Temple" and of course it made me cry.
The boys did great the entire time and truly seemed to enjoy the experience. I know that their sweet little spirits felt the Spirit while we were there.
I love our boys and my sweet husband.
I am so grateful that we will be together always.
What a wonderful reminder of the sacredness of families.
ps. The boys loved the bus ride and the cookies afterwards. Overall, the entire trip was very memorable!
*This picture was not taken inside the temple- don't worry!
Our Fridays
Now that the snow is melted, it's easier to go outside. Even though it's chilly, it is much needed by the end of the day. The kids ALL love to be outside, which means I do too!
Bad Hair Day...
The picture on the left was taken right after a nap. It made me laugh.
Then we fixed his hair all handsome like his daddy & bro.
Working on it...
Tave is SO close to crawling. He really really wants to move and is not very happy just sitting anymore....but he can't seem to get it just yet!
He does this over and over and over all day long. And when he lands on his tummy he's not a happy camper. What a funny kiddo we have!

Grandpa-time
Weston had my Dad do this for about a half hour straight! He LOVED it... thanks, Dad, for having so much fun with our guy!!
At the end of the video, Weston is talking about how he got 'dirt'. At some point during this activity, he decided the lovesack was a pile of dirt and he kept getting it in his mouth! What an imagination!!
